More than 50 alumni from ÊÖ»ú¿´Æ¬ got together in Long Beach for a mixer this October.
Organized by the WCU Alumni Network, the WCU California Alumni Masquerade Soiree: Unmask the Night event was held at the bayside Hotel Maya, right next door to the historic Queen Mary. Party goers were treated to dinner and dancing by the alumni organization, which also presented alumni awards and held a raffle for prizes.
Alexis Razo-Sanchez, a BSN graduate from WCU-Los Angeles, said she always looks forward to reuniting with old classmates and making new friends at alumni events.
“I love seeing where everyone is going and meeting people who are even going back to West Coast to further their education because that’s eventually what I’m going to do,” Razo-Sanchez said. “It’s nice to see how many years ago some people graduated and they’re still staying connected. It’s like a second family, and it’s nice to have that.”
